AmaZulu coach warns Sundowns of karma

AmaZulu FC coach Arthur Zwane has warned Mamelodi Sundowns of karma when they visit Durban in future following the performance of ball boys during the latest league match between the two sides.

Sundowns beat AmaZulu 2-0 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Tuesday to open the gap on top of the standings to 18 points, having played four games less than second-placed Orlando Pirates

Peter Shalulile scored for the Brazilians to reach the 100 goals mark during his career at the club, whilst the other goal was netted by Arthur Sales.

Usuthu were unlucky not to secure at least a draw after missing a number of clear goal-scoring opportunities.

Besides failing to find the net, Zwane felt let down by the ball boys from the opposition team.

"It could have been 1-0 at half-time and leading, but as I said, it comes with confidence. Maybe because we're trying to play more than scoring," reflected Zwane during the post-match press conference.

"Just like when they felt pressure, they started kicking the ball.

"But they were also smart. Even their ball boys started rolling the ball. So, we are learning, and we will also do the same to them (when they come to Durban).

"They have to understand in the future, we will do the same, we will tell our ball boys to do the same. Now we're playing Sundowns, just roll it and let them come get the ball. We then fight the referee, it's fine.

"We will change the ball boy and bring another one, tell him the same thing.

"So, we learn. That's football," he added.
