In this edition of My Muti Story, we explore why top coach Gavin Hunt never wears a suit while coaching his teams.
During a recent episode of SuperSport TV's show 'Gavin Hunt: 1000 Matches', which celebrates the former head coach of SuperSport United, Hunt shared some previously unheard stories.
The Cape Town-born coach revealed that he stopped bringing a suit to work after a club's muti man ruined it by sprinkling muti drops on it.

"I lost 5-0 in my first game as the Moroka Swallows head coach, and I have not worn a suit since. I will never wear a suit again," Hunt told a SuperSport presenter.
"I bought a suit with a tie for a Top 8 game against Orlando Pirates. The muti man put vinegar all over my new suit—my brand new suit. It ended up smelling terrible.
"Anyway, we went to the game, and we lost 5-0. I took the suit to the dry cleaners, but when it came back, I could still smell the vinegar and other stuff in it. So, I threw the suit away... I have never worn a suit again, and I never will.
"You know, I was at Swallows at that time, just starting in my career, thinking, 'Yeah, let me start wearing a suit.' But after that experience, I have never worn a suit again. I was traumatized in my early days."
In his over 26 years in professional football coaching, the 60-year-old has won four Premier Soccer League titles and three major cup competitions.
