With a hostile reception awaiting next Tuesday, Mamelodi Sundowns have been reminded about the importance of rattling the net more than once in the first leg of the CAF Champions League.
Sundowns host Tunisian powerhouse Esperance at Loftus Versfeld on Tuesday for the first leg (15:00).

"We have been waiting for this game for some time now, and I hope the preparations are in full swing," says Sello Mahlangu, the former Brazilians midfield dynamo.
"We are expecting a great match that will test our players' character. Sundowns have resources that many teams can only dream of. I believe they can make it all the way, but it all depends on the coach's tactics.
"This will be a test of how tactically advanced he is. If it were during the days of Pitso Mosimane and Rulani Mokwena, we would already know what the approach would be. That was positional football at its best.
"However, with the new coach (Miguel Cardoso), the tactics have changed. Fortunately, we have players who are comfortable on the ball," he goes on.
Mahlangu advises the Tshwane giants to go for the kill, as Esperance is likely to sit back and target a draw.

"They will play a counter-attacking style of football.
"Scoring two goals could be pivotal for them to advance to the semifinals. If Sundowns can take at least two goals into the second leg in Tunisia, they stand a great chance."
The second leg of this fixture is scheduled for April 8, 2025, at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi.
