The Tunisian Football Federation have reportedly decided to involve themselves in the saga surrounding Mamelodi Sundowns and Esperance Sportive de Tunis which arose following their CAF Champions League quarterfinal match.
Masandawana secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Esperance at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday, thanks to a second-half goal by Namibia international star Peter Shalulile.

Nevertheless, what was intended to be an exciting clash between two African giants ended in disturbing scenes, as supporters from both teams engaged in a physical altercation.
Even though the stadium announcer made several attempts to restore calm amid the fighting, both Downs and Esperance fans were unable to control or halt their violent actions against one another.
Hours following the match, Esperance announced that several of their supporters were hospitalized for medical care. The club additionally stated they would report the Brazilian fans to CAF, asserting that their supporters were assaulted.

In light of the developments, reports from Tunisia suggest that the TFF will take action regarding the incident involving their country's club and the Betway Premiership team.
According to Ar. lemaghreb.tn, the TFF, in collaboration with the Minister of Youth and Sports in Tunisia, is closely observing the situation, with TFF president Moez Naciri reportedly addressing the issue.
It remains unknown how the federation plan to aid Esperance's complaint to CAF.
Meanwhile, Sundowns have since released a statement addressing the issue.
