There have been calls for the Moroccan giants to swiftly dismiss coach Rulani Mokwena, with one Wydad club member claiming the South African tactician "doesn't know what he is doing" following their exit from Throne Cup.
Following Wydad's 1-0 loss to Moghreb Tetouan in the Round of 16 of the Moroccan Throne Cup at the Saniat Rmel Stadium on Saturday, Casablanca council member Karim Al-Kulaibi' has asked the club to get rid of Mokwena. Lesiteinfo report that Al-Kulaibi is a member of Wydad Sporting club.
The Red Castle's players seemed to be performing well during the match, having created several opportunities to score but were ineffective in front of the goal on the day.

The outcomes of the meeting, which is said to have taken place on Sunday night, are still unknown where several members of Wydad's executive committee are reported to have called for the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach's dismissal.
Amid this situation, Al-Kulaibi has harshly labeled Mokwena a failure and urged the Red Devils' leadership to release him. He also believes that the club's president Hicham Ait Menna should not be spared.
"We urgently call on the president and coach to leave the Red Castle, we need new leadership capable of restoring the team's spirit and identity and restoring the confidence of the fans," Al-Kulaibi said per LeSiteInfo.
"Mokwena is primarily responsible for the elimination. Promises are one thing, but reality is another. The Throne Cup humiliation is the embodiment of his strange philosophy.
"Spirit is the difference between MAS and Wydad. The former entered the match with a fighting spirit that has been absent from the Red Team since the beginning of the season."

"Mokwena's expression shows tension and a lack of confidence. How will the player gain that from a coach who doesn't understand what he's doing?"
"I promised to bring home a missing trophy, and today I broke my promise, and made the Wydad fans postpone their dream of breaking the curse for another season," he added.
"You had all the conditions and demands met, and the result was zero. How can you justify your continued presence to this point? Wydad has no future with you."
