'On to the next club search' is becoming an all-too-familiar story for a former Kaizer Chiefs defender who was once touted for big things in the game, having parted ways with a PSL side over the weekend.
Sibusiso Mabiliso joined Baroka FC at the beginning of the season.
However, as the Limpopo-based outfit chase a play-offs spot at the very least, he has been let go as he is not in the plans.

The 25-year-old has failed to live up to his promise as a player, after also being let go by AmaZulu FC (twice) and Kaizer Chiefs. At one stage, he was in the national U20 side and even went on to represent South Africa at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
His career has never really kicked on and it remains to be seen what Mabiliso's next step will be.
It remains unclear what led to the split between Baroka and the centre-back, but sources suggest there was definitely a fallout.
KickOff.com gave club chairman Khurishi Mphahlele a call to find out what led to the parting of ways.
"Mabiliso, we've terminated our contract with him. We agreed on the weekend, and the termination happened on Monday," confirmed Mphahlele.
"To be honest, our style of play doesn't suit him. However, this doesn't mean he is finished. He can still play for many years.
"Football teams are not all the same - some just want to kick the ball forward, while others prefer to build from the back.
"You may find that he isn't showing much here, but when he moves to another team, he could become a star.
"So, not succeeding here at Baroka doesn't mean he won't shine elsewhere.

When asked what initially attracted the club to Mabiliso if his playing style was different, Mphahlele replied, "He was recommended by his agent, and I've worked with this agent many times before and I trust him.
"Unfortunately, things just didn't work out. His contract was meant to last until the end of the current season."
