The wheels of Thulani Serero's return to the Betway Premiership have been set in motion, with a nod coming from the direction of his former coach having now been received.
Serero is back in the country after spending more than 13 years playing his football abroad.

The 34-year-old left the country in 2011, soon after winning the PSL Footballer of the Season award, to join Ajax Amsterdam in Holland.
He has spent the last five years plying his trade in the UAE Pro League, where won the league championship with Al Jaziri.
The Soweto-born star also played for Vitesse during his lengthy spell in Holland.
Now, current Cape Town City (interim) head coach Muhsin Ertugral has confirmed that the 34-year-old is still sorting his family issues overseas and is set to return to the country soon to begin his football career in the Mother City.
"He has gone back to Emirates as quickly as possible (to sort out his issues)," Ertugral told journalists after the Betway Premiership match against Chippa United at Athlone Stadium on Tuesday.
"He has gone to get his family sorted out, bring them back, and he is probably going to (United Arab) Emirates tomorrow and come back on the weekend. Obviously, the next game against AmaZulu, he will probably be ready," added the former Kaizer Chiefs coach.

The Citizens suffered their second defeat in succession, falling 2-0 to Chippa United in the league on Tuesday.
They now occupy 10th place in the standing.
