Chatsworth based football club Summerfield Dynamos head coach Clinton Larsen says he is not aware that one of their top players is currently homeless.

Samuel Darpoh is one of the few former Premier Soccer League players currently on the books of the ABC Motsepe League outfit.

Lucky Nguzana and Deolin Mekoa are also with the club.

Darpoh is rumoured to be struggling to pay for his own place and currently squatting with friends and he is even considering going back to Ghana.

Speaking to snl24.com/kickoff, Larsen said this was news to him as far as he knows the player is not without a club and is well-taken care of.

"He is homeless?" reacted Larsen with shock.

"Yes he's playing for me, So he's fine I don't know where that story comes from.

"All our players are paid, and on time. We are not like some other teams.

"If he had a problem with the accommodation he would have let us know. Well, as far as I know, he's got his own place. I don't worry about gossip stories, on the field he's playing very, very well," Larsen told snl24.com/kickoff

Dynamos are leading their stream with only three matches to go.
