Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana has set himself up for an improved second season as he seeks to defend the Romanian league title with FCSB.
Ngezana made his 30th appearance for FCSB this season on Sunday in the 2-1 derby win over Dinamo Bucuresti.

With the win, they maintained top spot in the Romanian Liga 1 regular season, setting themselves up to start in the championship play-offs in top place.
Two games remain in the 30-game regular season, after which the top six teams will have their points halved, rounded upwards, with no other records carried over, before they then play each other twice.
The team finishing top by then will be crowned champions.
For Ngezana, with 30 games played so far this season, it means he will surpass the 31 appearances that he managed last term.
FCSB still have at least 14 games to play, including a Europa League Last 16 tie against Lyon in March.

Should they win that two-legged contest, then they will play either Real Sociedad or Manchester United in the quarterfinals.
That Europa League journey will push his transfer value to more than double what it was a year ago.
