The Premier Soccer League faces an embarrassment and pressure from sponsors to make a ruling on the future of Royal AM as a member club.
Royal AM are under curatorship from SARS, as owner and businesswoman Shaun Mkhize owes the tax collector monies in the region of R40 million.
The PSL has requested financial guarantees from the curator that the club will be able to fulfill its contractual obligations to players and personnel at the club, as well as external contractors such as security in their home matches.

However, "a letter of comfort" has not been received by the League, which prompted the executive committee to suspend all Royal AM fixtures until further notice.
The KwaZulu-Natal outfit are desperate to resume their games after approaching the North Gauteng High Court to compel their SARS curator to co-operate with the League.
However, their application was dismissed as frivolous.
Royal AM are understood to be making efforts to ensure they meet the requirements by the PSL. The League, thought, is running out of time, with sponsors Nedbank facing an embarrassment ahead of the quarterfinals draw on Monday.
The Nedbank Cup round of 32 clash between Royal AM and Milford is yet to take place due to the suspension of Thwihli Thwahla fixtures.
The cup backlog will affect the integrity of the tournament ahead of the quarterfinals draw, as Sekhukhune United should have been fixtured this week for their round of 16 clash but are still awaiting the outcome of the winner between Royal AM and Milford FC.
It will appear strange in the quarterfinal draw that one team would have to be assigned to an opponent yet to be known from the round of 32, with two forward slashes (/) for either Royal AM, Milford or Sekhukhune.
The situation creates an unfair scenario for a team that would have reached the quarterfinals and set to play against either of the three teams, for planning purposes.

The League is also running out of calendar dates to re-schedule these fixtures, which will come at an extra cost to broadcasters, advertisers and sponsors.
Royal AM's closest available league fixture they were supposed to play is Tuesday against Richards Bay FC, which, if postponed, will mean the club would have been behind by seven games in the standings.
The PSL will have to make a definite ruling on the future of the KwaZulu-Natal side as a member club imminently, with the situation already out of hand.
