Sangweni back to help Arrows

Sangweni was back in the thick of things at training this week after recovering from an ankle injury and Mngqithi has hinted that the tough-as-teak defender could be part of the team travelling to Tshwane on Saturday to play against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Absa League match set for Loftus Stadium.

“Siyabonga has been working very hard and I am impressed with his commitment at training. His performance has put him into contention to play against Sundowns.”

The Abafana Bes’thende coach adds that they are hoping to finalise Adekunle Olubamiro’s work permit papers before the end of the week.

The Nigerian striker impressed at his trials and was signed immediately.
