WATCH: Retired footballer Sibusiso Mahlangu has called for more education for professional footballers on investing and managing finances, having lost some of his own properties he had attempted to invest in.
The former SuperSport United and Wits midfielder, who made 52 appearances in the top-flight, believes not enough information is available on preparing for life after retime.

Mahlangu also reveals that during his playing days, footballers did not earn as much as most believe.
"When I was playing, the highest money I earned was R35 000 per month, gross, that is the highest and that was maybe my last contract at Wits," told PrimeSportsWithMahlatse.
"But all thee other years, I was earning around R22 000, when I started I was earning R1 500 at SuperSport United. They raised it, it went to around R1 800 and then R12 000, and those are all the years that you have played.
