'Ex-Bucs coach has the desire to return to Morocco'

Fadlu Davids' agent has responded to reports linking him with a return to Morocco after impressing with Simba SC.

The former Maritzburg United tactician has been steadying the ship at Simba this season, where they find themselves in title race with Young Africans.

Davids was linked with the head coach role at AS FAR Rabat in the past couple weeks.

"I want to clarify that there was no communication from the team regarding the coach, but rather it was just speculation on our part," agent Rastome Simons told Set Sport Info.

The 43-year-old spent a season in Morocco as the assistant coach to Josef Zinnbauer, who guided the team to league and cup success.

Simons also revealed that Davids has not ruled out returning to the Moroccan top-flight in the future.

"The coach certainly has a desire to return to work in Morocco in the future as a coach," the agent said.

"But currently he is focusing with Tanzanian Simba in the remainder of the Tanzanian league and the CAF Cup competition."
