AS FAR star sends warning to Sundowns

AS FAR Star Al-Arabi Al-Naji has sent a warning to Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their final Group B clash in the CAF Champions League next week.

The Moroccan outfit qualified for the quarter-finals with a game to spare after the 1-1 draw with rivals Raja Casablanca on Saturday evening.

AS FAR will take on Sundowns in the final group game, with the South Africans needing to better Raja's result against Maniema Union to advance the next round.

A win for Sundowns will see the side finish top of their group for the sixth season in a row, something which Al-Naji is planning to stop.

"After achieving the most important thing, which is qualification, the next bet is to return with a result that supports our lead from South Africa."

"Our bet is big on that and on making our fans happy. Overthrowing Raja, getting back our debts, taking revenge and everything that was said about the match was not our motto. We played today's match with the goal of qualifying and we achieved it, thank God, without calculations or backgrounds,"

"Raja has chances and hope that it will fight for, and we will face Sundowns to stay in the lead, because that serves our interests for the rest of the journey.
