CONFIRMED: 11 top transfers already completed

With England international Jude Bellingham having become the second most expensive transfer in Real Madrid's history, here are 10 more signings that were confirmed in recent days!

Borussia Dortmund confirmed earlier this week that the 19-year-old sensation has signed for Los Blancos in deal worth €103 million (R2 billion), with add-ons that could potentially reach €30.9 million (R623 million).

The transfer places the midfielder second behind only Eden Hazard – who left the Spanish giants as a free agent this week after his contract was mutually terminated  in the list of the most expensive arrivals ever at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the Englishman having signed a lengthy contract until June 2029.

The announcement of his imminent arrival in Madrid coincided with the departure of former team captain Karim Benzema, who has since move away from Europe to join Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia on a three-year deal worth a reported £258 million (R6.1 billion).

While Bellingham's blockbuster move to Spain may have grabbed the most headlines at the club, a second Real signing for the 2023/24 campaign has already been confirmed in Spaniard Fran Garcia.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed last week that his side had signed the 23-year-old from Rayo Vallecano after he penned a pre-contract agreement earlier in the year.

The left-back is a former Los Blancos academy star, and the Italian coach has hinted that the 23-year-old could feature prominently next season given the issues they have had in that position, which forced him to play midfielder Eduardo Camavinga in the role for a vast number of games in the previous campaign.

Liverpool also made their first 2023/24 signing this week with the acquisition of 2022 FIFA World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton Hove Albion after activating his €42 million (R847 million) release clause.

The Argentine has signed until June 2028 and will wear the No. 10 shirt formerly worn by Sadio Mane.

Former Reds star Naby Keita, meanwhile, has secured a return to Germany with Werder Bremen after leaving Anfield as a free agent this month. The Guinea international, who represented RB Leipzig before joining Liverpool, has agreed a three-year deal with the Bundesliga club.
