Another one of Cristiano Ronaldo's former teammates is now reportedly close to joining him at Al Nassr in 2024/25.

The Saudi Pro League is once again on players' lips, with Belgium duo Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku having recently refused to rule out a move to the Gulf state in the upcoming transfer window.

Ronaldo has played an influential role in the influx of globally-recognised stars in Saudi Arabia, with his January 2023 move to Al Nassr as a free agent paving the way for other high-profile signings such as Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Sadio Mane and Neymar.

Moreover, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has also reportedly had a hand in swaying some transfers, including those of Alex Telles and Otavio, whom he previously played with at Manchester United and Portugal, respectively.

The apparent trend of a Ronaldo reuniting with his some of his present and past colleagues in Saudi Arabia looks set to continue, with journalist Fabrizio Romano reporting that Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is now close to a move to Al Nassr.
