With Mohamad Salah's contract situation at Liverpool still seemingly unresolved, former manager Jurgen Klopp has weighed in on the matter.
The Egyptian has amassed 21 goals and 17 assists in 29 across all competitions so far this season, helping the Reds to top spot on the Premier League table, with the side also topping the league stage of the UEFA Champions League.

With Salah's role in helping the Merseyside outfit to a successful season thus far, the club face the possibility of being without their talisman by the time the next campaign comes around.
The former Chelsea star is now free to begin pre-contractual negotiations with other clubs, which could see him leave Liverpool as a free agent at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Jurgen Klopp, who was recently unveiled as Red Bull's Global Head of Soccer, said that he does not want to see Salah depart the club.
"I hope he stays. He is the biggest striker Liverpool had in modern times – obviously there were other great strikers, but he's fantastic in every way," Klopp said per One Football.
"A fantastic player, a fantastic human being, an outstanding athlete, and the best ambassador his country could have," he added.
"He's fantastic in pretty much all departments, so I hope he will stay at Liverpool."
Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are two players whose contracts are also set to expire at the end of the current season, with the latter being linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
"I am so happy that I am not in charge of that situation," Klopp said.
"Why should I do that now? Good luck. From my point of view, I would like all of them to extend their contracts.
"They haven't told me anything. Maybe I should text them."
