Ex-Real star to 'reject' Rulani's Wydad

Former Real Madrid star Keylor Navas has reportedly made a final call on his future amid interest from Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Casablanca.

Moroccan media report that that Wydad had received an offer to sign goalkeeper Keylor Navas on a free transfer ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.

The Costa Rican has been a free agent since parting ways with French giants Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season, although he did have a loan spell at Nottingham Forest.

The reports added that three-time UEFA Champions League winner was open to making the switch to the Moroccan top-flight.

However, Cesar Luis Merlo has reported that Navas has agreed to join Argentine outfit Newell's Old Boys on a one-year contract.

There were reports of a potential switch to Brazilian outfit Gremio but the 38-year-old has now decided to switch European football for Rosario club.

Navas enjoyed a successful career in Europe, where he won the Champions League, LALIGA, three Ligue 1 titles and a few FIFA Club World Cup.

Old Boys are currently coached by former Manchester United and Real defender Gabriel Heinze.
