Speaking to Set Info, the former Jwaneng Galaxy coach has urged his player to double their efforts for the tournament later this year.

"We are in a group that includes teams with great experience and competitiveness. We know very well the history of the teams that are with us and we know how they performed in previous versions."

"The draw gave us the opportunity to test our strength against the top teams in Africa, and we have no doubts about what we can do or how well we will perform in the competition. We have to respect everyone and we know that our mission will not be easy, but we will fight and do our best.

"This is our second participation in the CAN, and we have to leave a clear mark and message. We reached this participation through hard work, not luck, and we have to double our efforts and fully commit to the cause to appear in the best possible way in the competition.
