With Nigeria having recently appointed Eric Chelle as the new head coach, it has reportedly been revealed what the tactician will earn in his new job.
Last week, Chelle was confirmed as the new boss of the Super Eagles, who had been without a permanent manager since Finidi George's departure in June 2024.

Chelle left his previous role as the first-team coach of the Algerian top-flight side MC Oran and revealed that the club wanted him to stay.
"This is my last meeting with you, and it marks the end of my adventure here. From Monday, I will be in Nigeria to start a new chapter," said Chelle, according to Owngoal Nigeria.
"The MC Oran officials insisted that I continue, but one cannot refuse to lead one of the best teams in Africa and the world."
It is now claimed that Chelle accepted a pay cut to become the Nigeria boss.
According to Owngoal Nigeria, the 47-year-old signed a contract worth $55,000 (R1 million) per month, which will also be shared between him and his three assistants.
Chelle was unveiled today at the MKO Abiola Stadium in the city of Abuja.
It is also reported that Chelle's first task will be the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN), which is set to take place between 1 and 28 February 2025.
The tournament will be hosted by three nations, namely Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
The draw for the competition is set to take place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi on Wednesday, 15 January.
