Liverpool have made a decision on their captain Virgil van Dijk following speculations about his future with the club.
Recent reports had indicated that the centre-back was about to leave the English Premier League giants, however, Dijk has now extend his deal with the club.
The 33-year old defender has signed a two-year contract extension to stay at the Reds until 2027. He joins Mohamed Salah in penning a new deal after concerns the club would lose both.
After putting pen to paper, the seasoned Dutch footballer expressed his enthusiasm for continuing at the club he joined in 2018 from Southampton FC.
