African giants offered 'cash bonus' ahead of CAF CL tie

A certain African team has reportedly offered their players big bonuses ahead of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

Egyptian outfit Pyramids FC will take on AS FAR Rabat in the last eight of Africa's premier club competition.

The Egyptians ended the group stage phase with three straight victories to ensure a place in the quarter-finals.

According to Telegraph Egypt, the Pyramids bosses have now set some funds aside to motivate the players ahead of Tuesday's first leg.

The Egyptian Premier League side boast an impressive record at home in the competition, having won their last five fixtures in Cairo.

Rabat, meanwhile, have only one won of their last five matches in the Champions League, which also includes four draws.
