Rashford 'makes' Man Utd decision

Marcus Rashford, on loan at Aston Villa, has reportedly made a decision on his future with parent club Manchester United.

The 27-year-old forward made the move to Villa Park in January following a strained relationship with United boss Ruben Amorim.

Tensions between the pair escalated to the point where Amorim, last month, shockingly stated that he would rather select 63-year-old goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital ahead of Rashford due to concerns over the Englishman's standards.

Since his arrival at Unai Emery's high-flying Villa side, Rashford has featured four times, providing two assists.

According to The Sun, Rashford is now eager to extend his stay at Villa beyond the 2024/25 season, with the player believing that working under Emery is the key to revitalising his career.

The England international has reportedly confided in close friends that he feels re-energised at his new club and is keen to secure a permanent move to the West Midlands.

It is understood that the attacker's ultimate goal is to return to the England squad, now managed by German tactician Thomas Tuchel, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

With his sights set on regaining his best form, Rashford is believed to view Villa as the ideal environment to rediscover his confidence and get back to his best.

The Villans' next clash will be an fifth-round FA Cup encounter against Cardiff City on Friday night, which will be followed by a UEFA Champions League encounter against Club Brugge on Tuesday as the side look to book a place in the quarter finals.
