Netherlands national team captain Virgil Van Dijk is allegedly open to considering a staggering R1.9 billion offer from Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint Germain amid uncertainty surrounding his future at Liverpool.
The 33-year-old defender's contract with the Reds is valid until June 2025, and he has not yet signed a potential new agreement with the club he joined in 2018 from Southampton FC.

According to Anfield Watch and FootballTransfers, Dijk has received an enticing contract proposal from PSG, with discussions between the two parties currently underway to see if they can finalise a possible deal that would lead to the highly experienced center-back moving to France.
Interestingly, Dijk reportedly appeared in a video last week alongside the French giants' Sporting Director Luis Campos. Although it has been stated that the footage is unrelated to transfer matters, it has intensified the speculation linking Dijk to PSG.

Moreover, African star Mohamed Salah and English defender Trent Alexander-Arnold are also among the players who might soon leave the English Premier League giants since their contracts are also set to lapse at the end of the season.
Nevertheless, with the rumors surrounding Dijk and his senior teammates intensifying, Liverpool is said to be eager to retain the players. However, it remains to be seen how these contractual situations will unfold before their current deals expire.
