WATCH: How Ronaldo reacted to 'Messi is better!' shout

Cristiano Ronaldo's reaction to being told that "Lionel Messi is better" than him on the weekend has now reportedly been revealed. 

The ex-Manchester United forward featured in Al Nassr's late 3-1 comeback win over bottom-of-the-league Al Batin on Friday. 

After going a goal behind in the 17th minute, three goals in added time from Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Mohammed Al-Fatil and Mohammed Maran helped Ronaldo's side maintain their position at the top of the table.

With many believing the match would be an easy win for Al Nassr, the Portuguese's frustration at half-time, with the score at 1-0 to Al Batin, appeared to be clear when he was heckled by a fan at the Mrsool Park stadium. 

According to the Daily Mirror, the supporter told the veteran: "Messi is so much better than you!"

Ronaldo seemingly chose to ignore the jibe, responding by shouting back: "It is an easy match! It is an easy match!"

While it was initially, and incorrectly, reported that the player had told the fan to "go watch Messi then", his response suggests that despite his side's deficit at the time, he was confident they would come back into the game.

Having achieved a stunning comeback in the tie, Al Nassr remain top of the Saudi Pro League table with 46 points from 19 matches, while the ex-Real Madrid talisman has found the back of the net on eight occasions since making the blockbuster move to the Middle East in January.
