Stuart Baxter's job is somewhat easier heading into the Africa Cup of Nations last-16 clash against hosts Egypt.
Bafana Bafana have an opportunity to cause the biggest upset of the competition by knocking out the hosts at Cairo International Stadium on Saturday and Baxter feels that his players will be naturally motivated for this encounter, no matter what he says to them. It's the biggest match of the competition for Bafana and they will not need to be motivated by their coach.
"I don't think we are going to have to do a massive motivation pump with them. I think they are going to be up for this one, no matter what I say," Baxter said.
"The motivation is that they want to badly get past this hurdle. I don't think mentally we have to lift them."
Bafana will be without suspended Themba Zwane for the clash tomorrow, while midfielder Dean Furman could return after missing the group stages matches against Namibia and Morocco.
Baxter has hinted that Bafana could attack more when they face the Egyptians after they came under-fire for not being brave enough to go at their opponents during the round robin phase.
