If history is anything to go by, then Bafana Bafana should be confident heading into their final Africa Cup of Nations Group D clash against Morocco.
Bafana and Morocco have met four times at AFCON and the South Africans have never tasted defeat against the North Africans.

1998 AFCON, Burkina Faso
Bafana first came up against Morocco at the 1998 AFCON, as the two sides met in the in the quarterfinals. Bafana, coached by Jomo Sono at the time, came out 2-1 winners, thanks to goals scored by a young Benni McCarthy and left back David Nyathi. Said Chiba scored Morocco's only goal.
2002 AFCON, Mali
Four years after meeting in Burkina Faso, Bafana and Morocco locked horns again at the 2002 edition played in Mali. This time, however, they met in the group stages and Bafana registered a convincing 3-1 victory. Sibusiso Zuma, Thabo Mngomeni and Siyabonga Nomvethe scored to make it 3-0. Rachid Benmahmoud scored the consolation goal 13 minutes from time from the penalty spot.
2004 AFCON, Tunisia
The two sides were drawn in the same group again two years later, but this time there was no winner when they met. They met in the final group match and it ended 1-1. Patrick Mayo opened the scoring for Bafana just before the half hour mark, but it was cancelled out by Youseff Safri's penalty seven minutes before the break.
2013 AFCON, South Africa
Playing on home soil, Bafana were held to a 2-2 draw by the Moroccans in their group stage match played at Moses Mabhida Stadium, but it was enough to take them through to the quarterfinals of the competition. Issam el Adoua opened the scoring for Morocco after just 10 minutes and Bafana managed to get back into the game with a goal in the 71st minute from May Mahlangu. Abdelilah Hafidi put Morocco ahead again eight minutes from time, but Siyabonga Sangweni had the final say with the equaliser in the 86th minute.
