CAF threaten to fine the Algerian FA for the behaviour of their supporters

The Confederation of African Football has threatened to fine Africa Cup of Nations finalists Algeria for the behaviour of their supporters.

According to Kingfut.com, CAF have threatened to enforce a $10 000 fine on the Algerian Football Association after their supporters attacked Egyptian fans.

Algeria are due to play Senegal in the final in Cairo on Friday evening.

According to CAF officials, Algerian fans in Category three threw water bottles at some Egyptian supporters staying the East Stand and tried to climb the barrier to attack them in the 72nd minute after some of them celebrated Odion Ighalo's equalizer.

Algerian are looking to win their first AFCON title since 1990, but will face a determined Senegalese side determined to win their first ever crown.
