French coach Claude Le Roy claims to have already received a number of job offers just hours after he stepped down from his role with the Togo national team.
Le Roy, 73, resigned from his position as Togo's head coach earlier this week after his side failed to qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. He had been in charge of the national team since April 2016.
However, despite being disappointed not to feature at next year's AFCON, the veteran tactician has no plans to leave the game and revealed that he has already received a number of job offers, which he will consider after taking a short break.
"I still have the energy to coach," he told BBC Sport Africa. "Since yesterday, I received phone calls so I will think about it. For now, I will take some time off, release my book next month. But I already have some offers on the table and really serious ones."
Le Roy has become a household name on the African continent over the last three decades and his CV boasts spells with the national teams of Cameroon, Senegal, DR Congo, Ghana, Congo and Togo, while he has also coached Malaysia, Sudan and Syria.
He oversaw 26 matches during his time at the helm of Les Éperviers, winning five, drawing nine and suffering defeat in the remaining 12 encounters.
