Ghana could be without influential captain and the Black Stars' Africa Cup of Nations record goalscorer Andre Ayew for their clash against defending champions Cameroon on Saturday.
Ayew, 29, netted Ghana's first goal of their Afcon 2019 campaign as James Kwesi Appiah's side were held to a 2-2 draw by Benin.
The Ghana Football Association has since taken to its official website to provide updates on attacking duo Ayew and Thomas Agyepong, both of whom sustained injuries at the Ismailia Stadium on Tuesday.
Ghana are carefully monitoring Ayew, who is the country's top goalscorer in Afcon history with nine goals, in the hope he will be fit to play as soon as possible.
