Africa Cup of Nations hosts Egypt begin their journey towards lifting a fourth title on home soil when they take on Zimbabwe in the opening Group A match in Cairo this evening.
Egypt were roped in as hosts after Cameroon were stipped of the rights to have the tournament in their country and now the Pharoahs, who have Mohamed Salah to bank on to lead them to glory, are ready to welcome the continent.
This is the fifth time Egypt are hosting the competition and they have won it three times on home soil.
