Sredojevic and The White Knights parted ways via mutual consent in December, just four months after his initial appointment.
And since his exit, a host of clubs have been in contact with the Serbian tactician, including North African outfits MC Alger, Wydad Casablanca, Hassania Agadir and Al Taawoun in Saudi Arabia.
On the international front, he was said to be in the running for the Zimbabwe, Ghana and Zambia coaching vacancies and Chipolopolo have now reportedly decided to offer him the job.
Sredojevic is said to be close to returning to the game for a project that fulfils his passion for the development of the African game.
