AmaZulu make more technical team changes

The UEFA Pro License holder replaces former assistant coach Ayanda Dlamini who has taken over as head coach at Umvoti FC in the KwaZulu-Natal ABC Motsepe League.

The Spaniard has already reported for duty at AmaZulu's training base in Durban.

"We have a really good challenge and all the players and all the staff are working really hard," the Spaniard told the club's media.

"We are happy. We need to improve our focus. It is a pre-season you know, but I'm sure we will try and reach the best performance for the team.

"The head coach Pablo, is a really really good professional in helping improve the individual players and I will also try my best to develop the players and the squad.

AmaZulu will be looking for a more productive campaign after finishing 12th on the DStv Premiership log table last season, just four points off relegated Marumo Gallants.

"It's a big challenge and we can only say that I will work very hard and I'm going to work really hard, we will put our heart and everything in AmaZulu," added van den Brule.

The KZN Premier's Cup winners will kick off their DStv Premiership campaign on Saturday, 5 August against Royal AM.
