AmaZulu's first-team squad are throwing their support behind interim head coach Ayanda Dlamini as Usuthu look to climb away from the relegation zone.
Following a poor rum of results, AmaZulu chairman Sandile Zungu announced at the start of April that then-head coach Romain Folz would be redeployed to make way for Dlamini to lead the team until the end of the season.
"I think we're doing well under coach Dlamini and I think as players we are showing him supporter since he just took over from the previous coach [Romain Folz]," Usuthu defender Mbongeni Gumede told the club's media.
"I think as players we are supporting him [Dlamini], I think we know what is needed from us."
AmaZulu had endured a season tumulus season that has the Durban-based outfit collect just four wins in 27 matches under Romain Folz – now redeployed to technical director.
The underwhelming form sees Usuthu sitting in position 12 on the DStv Premiership, just five points above bottom-of-the-table Maritzburg United.

AmaZulu have five more matches to play and defender Abbubaker Mobara says the team will treat them like 'cup finals.'
"Every game that we play we want to play it as a cup final like I said. Because every point is needed and the [teams on the] table are not far from one another.
"The teams on top of us are mot far ahead of us, the ones below us are not far away from us every game we are going to play from now we have to treat it like a cup final."
Usuthu takes on second-placed SuperSport United on Sunday at TUT Stadium.
