George Maluleka has revealed one of the key factors behind his return to form and fitness following his move from Mamelodi Sundowns to AmaZulu at the start of the season.
Having been limited to just seven starts and 19 appearances in total over the course of a two-season spell with Mamelodi Sundowns, former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka departed the club at the start of the current campaign in order to join AmaZulu.
The 33-year-old has since been a regular fixture in the Usuthu starting XI and has already made 16 appearances across all competitions, including a Man of the Match display in the club's triumph over the Amakhosi in the MTN8 semi-finals.

Maluleka has received widespread plaudits for his return to form and fitness and the veteran reveals that the work he has done to get back in shape and look after his body has been one of the key factors behind his resurgence.
"I worked a lot. I worked very hard. I push myself. I obviously wasn't playing (at Sundowns) and I told myself that I needed to push harder," he told AmaZulu's website. "With that happening, I ended up losing weight and becoming strong and fit. I was injury prone, but I am not anymore."
"The last time I did that was when I was at [Kaizer] Chiefs. I have been taking care of my body and have realised that investing in your body goes a long way and this is exactly what is happening."
