AmaZulu to add Spanish coach to Martin's technical team

AmaZulu are set to add a highly qualified Spanish coach to head coach Pablo Franco Martin's technical team ahead of the upcoming season.

Usuthu announced the arrival of Martin to take over the coaching reigns in June earlier this year following the departure of interim coach Ayanda Dlamini.

The Spaniard signed a three-year contract with AmaZulu, having already begun pre-season training with the Durban-based outfit.

AmaZulu are now set to announce UEFA PRO license coach and trusted ally Aitor Van Den Brule as Martin's assistant coach.

Van Den Brule holds a master's degree in football coaching and management from IDE URJC University in Spain alongside his UEFA qualifications.

"AmaZulu are busy finalising the arrival of another Spanish coach," a source tells KickOff.

"He is going to be the 1st assistant coach with the first team to head coach Martin."

AmaZulu have recently signed Victor Letsoalo from Sekhukhune United while Gabadinho Mhango is set to finalise his departure imminently.
