The 31-year-old - who turns 32 on 3 April - is part of a growing list of players to have departed Usuthu alongside experienced campaigners Lehlohonolo Majoro and Ramahlwe Mphahlele.

Mphahlele is being already linked with a move to Gavin Hunt's SuperSport United next season.

"The coach [Folz] felt the need to begin to focus on the squad that will be used for next season," AmaZulu owner Sandile Zungu told KickOff on in relation to Majoro and Mphahlele.

Additionally, former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder George Maluleka and defender Thendo Makumela are reportedly further names who could leave AmaZulu at the end of the season.

Makumela has been hampered by injuries since joining from Cape Town Spurs last season.
