AmaZulu FC striker Gabadinho Mhango aims to continue his good scoring record against childhood club Kaizer Chiefs tomorrow.
Usuthu host the Glamour Boys at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday where three points will be at stake.
"Chiefs is a team that I have always look up to, so it's always a motivation as it becomes memorable when I score, they are the big team in the country," Mhango tells KickOff.
"It's a team I supported as a young boy, and also I used to support Bernard Parker.
"He was my favourite player in South Africa. The first time I went to the national team, I think it was 2010.
"We played a friendly game in Moses Mabhida, South Africa versus Malawi, I remember we lost the game 3-1 but I was very proud when Bernard Parker came to me, and he gave me a Bafana Bafana pennant.
"So since then he was my favourite player.
"The only thing we need to do tomorrow is to do our best. It's not about the coach [Romain Folz] it's about us. We are fighting for three points.
"There's nothing to be scared of in football, it's a game of two halves, it's a game we've been playing for too long, it's a game we know.
"It's just going to be a case of 'who wants it more?' That's what going to happen tomorrow.
"We will go there and do what we can do as the AmaZulu team.
"In fact we want it more than them, but you know sometimes in football we might have good players but if we don't put in the heart in our game it's not going to happen.
"So, tomorrow's game is about who needs it more."
