Folz not getting carried away with Chiefs thrashing

AmaZulu head coach Romain Folz says he won't get carried away by their 4-0 thrashing of Kaizer Chiefs on Friday evening.

Usuthu responded to their first loss under Folz in emphatic fashion after punishing Chiefs, with Dumisani Zuma and Ramahlwe Mphahlele getting the first two goals both assisted by another erstwhile Amakhosi player George Maluleka.

Junior Dion and Bonginkosi Ntuli got the the other two goals for Usuthu in a famous win, but the coach wants to see his player perform like this on a weekly basis.

"Its a game we knew we had a lot to be forgiven for based on our recent performance this past weekend. We're never happy when we're giving performances, the fans are telling us better luck next time," Folz said on SuperSport TV.

"We're not happy with that. We know what we can give. I always tell the players that there's gonna come a time where you're not at your potential, that's what we do at training, we try to unlock your potential.

"As much as we're happy now, I'll be happy when we're capable to do performances like that back-to-back. We gonna celebrate with our fans tonight but there's a long way to go.

"We step into the second round of games the best way possible but hear me when I say we're still not happy with the ranking at the moment.

"It's not enough in terms of consistency. I want that week in and week out, then I'll be happy."
