Supporters Forum: Dlamini

In this edition of Supporters Forum, KickOff speaks to AmaZulu FC's number one fan Ndumiso Zondi about his long-standing affair with Usuthu.

Name of supporter?

"My name is Ndumiso Zondi, but in football, I'm known as 'Dlamini'. I see myself more as an AmaZulu player because during matches I never sit down I jump, and I run for the whole 90 minutes on the stands wearing my jersey number 8.

"I'm from Kwa-W, in Emlazi. Today I have a job because of supporting AmaZulu. My boss is a big AmaZulu fan."

Club supported?

"I've been supporting AmaZulu ever since I started following football. Before that I never liked football."

How long supported?

"Since 2008. As a proud Zulu man, I admired the way the AmaZulu fans dressed in their traditional attires."

Are you happy with the bosses?

"Personally, I prefer to support the team and not interfere with the management. Arguments will always be there."

Are you happy with the coach?

"I've met him in person because I was one of those who welcomed him at the airport.

"I realised immediately that he knows exactly why he is here. I'm happy with the coach.

"I can't wait to see what he is bringing to AmaZulu, I guess we will find out in Premier's Cup on the weekend."

Are you happy with the players?

"As for new players, I don't want to lie I don't have much information except the four that were signed recently. We are still waiting for more signings."

Who do you want them to sign?

"I believe the management are the ones who know best which players suites the team better. I will support whoever."

Your message to the team?

"We don't have friendly matches at Usuthu, we want to win, starting with the Premier's Cup on the weekend.

"As supporters we promise to play our part in the stands."
