AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu has opened on the departure of club captain Makhehlene Makhaula and tying down head coach Romain Folz to a three-year extension.
Zungu says there is no bad blood between Usuthu and their former captain.
"Losing Makhaula was not a disappointment, the guy gave us his all," Zungu tells KickOff.

"He was our captain, so when he gets something that will improve his conditions we will say congratulations.
"It's not even worth speculating [he had signed a pre-contract with Orlando Pirates], he's now a Pirates player and we're happy for him.
"He has our blessing, we happy for him, and Pirates they got themselves a very good player."
Zungu also explained the reason behind adding three more seasons to Folz's contract.
"Yes, we had initially just brought him for this season [Romain Folz], and we have given him a new contract which will cover three seasons.
"There is something we have seen in Folz that others are going to take time to see.
"I think that's all that matters. But we are happy, and he will take us somewhere."
The KwaZulu-Natal club is currently in position 11 on the log table and has gathered 24 points in 20 matches.
