South Africa remained unchanged in position 74 since the start of 2019 but after qualifying for the continental showpiece in Egypt this year they've managed to lift one spot into 73rd in the overall rankings of 185 countries across the globe.
Belgium remains at the summit, slightly ahead of World Champions France, while 23rd placed Senegal is ranked number one in Africa.
Despite going unbeaten throughout the AFCON qualification process, Stuart Baxter's side remains outside CAF's top ten, however, a strong showing in Egypt later this year could propel them back amongst the best on the continent.
