Bafana Bafana's opponents for the qualifiers of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 have been announced.
In the broadcasted event, held in Johannesburg on Wednesday, 48 nations were drawn into 12 groups of four teams each, who will be vying for a spot at the 35th edition of the continental showpiece.

After climbing up into the top 10 in the latest FIFA rankings, South Africa were seeded among the continent's finest alongside the likes of Morocco, Algeria and Nigeria in Pot 1.
Hugo Broos' Bafana have been drawn in Group K alongside Uganda, Congo and South Sudan.

Bafana will be confident of their chance of qualifying, having put in a spirited performance at the 2023 AFCON, where they returned with a Bronze medal and are considered as one of the heavyweights on the continent.
The tournament will take place between 21 December 2025 and 18 January 2026.
Meanwhile, Bafana are also competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where will host Lesotho in March 2025.
