Head coach Hugo Broos wants to see 'revenge' when Bafana Bafana take on Ivory Coast on Tuesday after an underwhelming goalless draw against Eswatini on Friday.
Bafana's Afcon preparations have not gone according to Broos' plans with a string of underwhelming results, including a 0-0 draw with Namibia, a slender 1-0 win against DR Congo before Friday nights' goalless draw to Eswatini at FNB Stadium.
Further complicating matters is a growing list of injuries in the Bafana camp, with Zakhele Lepasa becoming the latest casualty after Monnapule Saleng withdrew due to an illness while Bathusi Aubaas, Thapelo Morena and Thapelo Morena missed the camp while nursing injuries.
Nevertheless, a visibly unimpressed Broos wants to see an improved Bafana come Tuesday.
"I want to see revenge," Broos said at the post-match press conference.
"I want to see certainly a team with passion, a team with a winning spirit again. We have shown that already. So if we had shown that [against Eswatini]new could have won the game without a problem.
"But nothing comes easily, even in a game like Eswatini. Every game you have to go for one hundred percent, every game.

"If things are not going a you expect, then you have to fight for it and that is what I missed from my team. We were [ too relaxed] and that I don't want to see. My team can die but after we have fought until the las second and the last minute, then I don't have a problem.
Bafana's match against Ivory Coast will kick off at 21:00 (SA time).
