Double the price for fans to watch Bafana!

The ticket price that Ugandans will pay to watch their national team against Bafana Bafana will come at a cost of at least double what is paid in South Africa.

Bafana fans will pay R60 to watch the senior national team upon their return to Cape Town on Tuesday in the match against South Sudan.

Kids and scholars will pay R30 with school uniform and student cards required for over 12-year-olds.

Entrance fee for Bafana's last home game against Congo (Brazzaville) at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium was also R60.

Then with the home match played in September against Uganda at Orlando Stadium, entrance was also R60, while there was a family option for R140 (two adults and two children).

Children, scholars, and students paid R30.

Yet for Bafana's game at the Mandela National Stadium, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has the ordinary ticket sold at the stadium at 30 000 UGX (Ugandan Shillings), which is approximately R150.

MTN Momo Early bird limited editions were USGX 20 000 (approx. R100) and only available from October 28 to November 2, while the regular is at UGX 25 000 (approx. R125) until Thursday.

There are other more expensive options available, which include VIP, platinum, and family packages.

The cheapest tickets – known as third class – for Bafana's trip to South Sudan were pegged at 5000 SSP (South Sudanese Pound),which equates to approximately R150.

Second-class tickets were 10000 SSP (approx. R300), first class at 25000 SSP (approx. R750), then VIP was pegged at 50000 SSP (approx. R1500).

Then, with the match in Brazzaville against Congo, tickets were 500 CFA franc (approx. R15) for the cheapest, then 2000 CFA franc (approx. R60) for the side tribune, and 5000 CFA franc (approx. R150) for the official tribune.

Bafana fans keen to travel to Kampala and then Cape Town must pay R20 000, which doesn't include accommodation and all relevant visa fees.
