Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Teboho Mokoena cautions the team against playing for a draw

Bafana need a point to qualify for AFCON, but Mokoena does not advise that the team should have a cautious approach and play for a draw.

"It's going to be tough," Mokoena tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"But I hope the guys will do well. They have to expect anything as they play away. It's not going to be easy there. We must face them straight and not go for a draw, we want a win. Whatever happens happens, but if we can go there with a draw in mind it means we are not going to play. To go there just to defend, no! That's not something that we want, we have to go straight at them and attack. We must fight to get one or two goals and then that's where we can relax. But obviously we can't be just attack minded because that way we will be opening space at the back."

The 44-year-old believes SuperSport United captain Dean Furman could play an important role for the team on Sunday.

"Furman should definitely start because he is very good defensively. Furman will win it for us. But we will will win 2-1 there. We must score first and not play for a draw."
