JUST IN | Hugo Broos names exciting frontline in latest 23-man Bafana squad

Head coach Hugo Broos has named his final 23-man Bafana Bafana squad for upcoming friendlies against Namibia and DR Congo.

Bafana are set to get their Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) preparations underway with the first two of four friendlies to be played in September.

Broos' side will first host Namibia on Saturday, 9 September, then take on DR Congo three days later (Tuesday, 12 September).

They will then take on eSwatini as well as Afcon hosts Cote D'Ivoire on 13 October and 17 October respectively. 

The final 23-man squad

Goal keepers: Ronwen Williams (Mamelodi Sundowns), Veli Mothwa (AmaZulu), Ricardo Goss (SuperSport United), 

Defenders: Sydney Mobbie (Sekhukhune United), Innocent Maela, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Thabiso Monyane (all Orlando Pirates), Aubrey Modiba, Grant Kekana, Mothobi Mvala, (all Mamelodi Sundowns) Siyanda Xulu (SuperSport United).

Midfielders: Teboho Mokoena, Themba Zwane, Bathusi Aubaas, (all Mamelodi Sundowns) Grant Margeman (SuperSport United).

Forwards: Monnapule Saleng, Zakhele Lepasa (both Orlando Pirates), Themba Zwane(Mamelodi Sundowns), Mihlali Mayambela (Aris Limassol, Cyprus), Percy Tau (Al Ahly,t, Kobamelo Kodisang (Moreirense FC) Lebo Mothiba (Strasbourg) Lyle Forster (Burnely).
