KickOff has learnt that the Africa Cup Of Nations tournament could end prematurely for a Bafana Bafana star.
According to an insider from the Bafana camp, coach Hugo Broos has been dealt a blow with the injury of one of the national team's key players.

Attacker Thapelo Maseko, is believed to be out for the rest of the tournament. Indications are that the Mamelodi Sundowns star will take no further part in the AFCON, currently underway in Ivory Coast.
The 21-year-old suffered a knock during the South Africa and Cape Verde quarter-final clash, where Bafana emerged victorious and will face off against Nigeria in the semi-finals on Wednesday 7 November.

The versatile winger, who can play on the right and left, as well as an attacking midfielder, looks set to miss the crucial tie against the Super Eagles.
"Maseko is on crutches, he is out for the rest of the tournament," a source in Ivory Coast reveals to KickOff.
The attacker has been instrumental for his club, Sundown this season, making one assist and scoring two goals in 16 appearances, in all competitions.
