Banyana draw 0-0 with Ghana in All Africa Games

A win for South Africa would have seen them advance to the semi-finals of the tournament, but they will now have to wait for the result of the final group game between Ghana and Cameroon on Sunday.

There were not many chances throughout the game, and the closest Banyana came was late in the contest when the Ghana goalkeeper pulled off two good saves to deny Rhoda Mulaudzi and Leandra Smeda.

Banyana drew 1-1 with Cameroon in their opening game. Egypt have pulled out of the tournament, which means the Group B standings are as follows:

All Africa Games, Group B

3 Ghana          Played 1 W0 D1 L0 Pts 1
