Banyana go down to Cameroon at Women's Africa Cup of Nations

South Africa went down to Ngo Mbeleck's 83rd minute goal at Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium as the west Africans advanced to the semi-finals of the competition.

“I believe we had a good game and we gave as good as we got, but this is football,” said Banyana coach Desiree Ellis.

“One moment will deny the whole match, that goal in the 83rd minute is something we will have to go back and look into.

“However, we still have a game on Friday. We will go back and continue preparing for our last group A match.”

Banyana will end their Group A campaign against Egypt on Friday at Limbe Omnisports Stadium (17h00 kick-off SA time).
